Associate Policy Advisor
Caitlyn Hatcher, aka Cait, is Team 180’s Associate Policy Advisor. Working in conjunction with our Senior Policy Advisors and CEO, she advocates before Florida Government and assists in developing comprehensive legislative strategies. Previously serving as Team 180’s Policy Analyst, Cait excels at performing in-depth legislative tracking, research, and analysis on complex issues. Her strengths include an intuitive understanding of The Process, strong relationships with emerging and veteran legislative and political staff, and a knack for mobilization and grassroots organizing strategy.
Cait has a fresh perspective on the legislative and political processes, with an analytical approach that allows her to create order and understanding in a chaotic industry environment. She has an unmatched eye for detail and often serves as Team 180’s de facto proofreader and wordsmith.
A lifelong Nole, she holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida State University and is currently working towards her master’s in FSU’s renowned Masters of Applied American Politics and Policy (MAAPP) program. As a Tallahassee local, Cait knows the Capital City inside and out. She enjoys spending time in Florida’s beautiful parks and hanging out with her cat, Miles Davis.
